This has a lot to do with water\u2019s capability to absorb different colours. At the red end of the colour spectrum, it\u2019s much harder for the ocean to absorb the colours, leaving mostly blue. Mangroves have been the topic of many ecological studies and studies have shown that it is possible to create an environment for mangroves to grow, by adding the nutrients it needs to survive to the right existing environment.
