From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm smiles and friendly greetings. The staff at Mnarani truly go above and beyond to make guests feel at home—our kids were welcomed by the fantastic entertainment team while we checked in, and within minutes we were all settled poolside, already unwinding. An added bonus? The resort provides swimming towels for guests, making it even easier to relax and enjoy the day without any extra hassle.
The pool area was a dream for the whole family. The kids splashed happily in the shallow end while we lounged nearby on sunbeds, sipping refreshing cocktails. There’s plenty of shade when you need it, and attentive staff made sure we were always topped up with drinks and light meals, the pizza’s were the best. The atmosphere was relaxed and safe, and the weather was absolutely perfect—clear skies, warm sunshine, and a gentle coastal breeze. Their Animation team was also on hand with loads of fun activities for the whole family.

While the kids enjoyed the pool and explored the beautiful garden paths (with a few friendly monkeys peeking from the trees!), we took time to check out the spa, the gym, the Padel courts and the peaceful nooks scattered around the resort. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and designed with both comfort and beauty in mind. There’s something for everyone—whether you’re looking to stay active or simply kick back and relax.
Lunch with a View
When lunchtime rolled around, we made our way to the creekside restaurant—and what a view! Perched above the water, the restaurant offers sweeping vistas of the Kilifi Creek, where dhow boats float lazily and the horizon seems to go on forever. The a la cart menu had something for all of us—grilled fish and fresh salads for the adults, and kid-friendly options like chicken and chips for the little ones. Everything was delicious, and the service was, once again, top-notch. The staff were kind, patient, and genuinely happy to serve us—no request was too much trouble.
A Sunset to Remember
As the day came to a close, we returned to our loungers with a final round of drinks and soft mocktails for the kids. Then came the real showstopper: sunset over the creek. The sky transformed into a canvas of brilliant oranges, purples, and pinks, and for a few quiet moments, we all just watched in awe. Even the kids were mesmerized.
